I planned to go for a longish run but only did about 5 miles in the end as it started to hail.
But I do feel a little more balanced & brighter, so I thought I'd pop in to say thanks for all of the hugs.
I really appreciate everyone's kindness.
*hugs flist tight*

While I'm about, here are another couple of Orli clips from UK telly that I managed to get.

a review of KoH from Talking Movies including brief Orli comment (Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] izzicat for the heads up for this being on.)
a snippet from Top of the Pops with Orli talking about music

And not forgetting - happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] caffyolay. ♥

Hope you've had a wonderul day & do enjoy your time in Norfolk with Oscar. :-)

Glad the run brightened your spirits sweetie,
thanks again for being the most wonderful clip enabler.

I was spitting tacks over Talking Movies - 15 mins devoted to a documentary about telephonists and 5 minutes on a british directors new movie with no coverage of the premier in NY??!!! Well he did say that telephones were his passion - bizarre.

Hugs you tight.

I know! Telephones! Pah!
I do always find Talking Movies to be a bit worthy - it seems to take itself rather seriously to my mind.

Glad to know you're feeling brighter...

5 miles isn't a longish run?! ::sighs:: I really gotta quit smoking. Cigarettes, that is. ;)

Thanks for the nice linkage!

That's actually a pretty awesome thing, to look forward to exercise instead of dreading it. Guess I just haven't found my niche yet. ::s::

I always used to hate exercise - it was something that I forced myself to do. Then I started running & found that I loved it! Which is bizarre 'cus I was useless at school & always thought that I had no stamina. I'm no Paula Radcliffe (ggg) but I do okay & actually enjoy it.
Just got back from a nice run to our local stately home actually, it's lovely to run around the grounds.

You've jogged my memory (heh), and now I recall I used to like walking, I think I might get back into that.

Sounds lovely. The local cemetary will have to do for me though; it's closed off to the public, but the perimeter is actually pretty nice, so folks jog or walk around it al the time...

Jogged your memory?
*groans*

We're so lucky to live where we do - right on the edge of the countryside so we have the best of both worlds.
But a quiet, traffic free area like the cemetery sounds good too.

With the time difference, I wasn't even there to hug you when you needed it - so I'm really happy that you are feeling better.

Doing some exercise always seems to help me - so I'm not surprised that you're feeling better for a run.

Love you dearly. xxxxx

Thanks, sweetheart.
*hugs*

Yeah - a good run seems to blow out the cobwebs. Though I could've done without the hail stones! :-)
We had another big hail storm today & so it delayed me running. Just got back in fact - the sun's shining now & it was a great run.

How are your ribs now? Any better?

much better - but then I haven't been exercising my upper body - only walking and leg exercises. When I get back from LA I will go back to doing everything at the gym. Thanks for caring, love {{{hugs you}}}

That sounds sensible - I imagine it takes quite a bit of getting over.

It's good that you're able to do something though. :-)
