So, sadly John & Rodney didn't make it through to the next round of the Ultimate Slash Madness Tourney at AfterElton.

They (& David Hewlett!) did get a very nice mention though:

Destiel dominated in the early voting rounds and seemed like they would cruise to the finals, but in Round Three, underdog McShep from Stargate Atlantis made it a real horse race thanks in part to actor David Hewlett lobbying on Twitter! Well done, sir!

I haven't been writing much lately (stupid health issues... grrr) & what I have has been mainly H5-O.
I must knuckle down to my Sheppard H/C challenge fic, but I think I need to 'flex' my John & Rodney voices first. *g*
I'll take the first three prompts please - McShep only - & I'll write a drabble or short ficlet. :)

I seem to have various things that I've been meaning to say for a few days but haven't had chance before now.

So, this is a bit of a mixed bag & I'll bullet-point to try & make it less rambly. *g*

+ I've started a new Five-O comm. It's based on the excellent sga_noticeboard & is called (not surprisingly *g*) h50_noticeboard!
It's an announcement comm for all things Five-O. A sort of central bulletin board for folk to come & pin their announcements. Do come over & check it out (& join, join, please join! LOL)
I have three amazing co-mods - hildejohanne, lantean_drift & zinfic - & so do take a look (& join, join, please join! *g*)

+ casa_mcshep is open for business again! \o/ I have a little McShep domesticity idea flittering about in the back of my head. I wish I could pin it down & write it.

+ I've received my assignment for the sheppard_hc fic exchange. Right now, I have no idea what to write - but I will! *fc*

Wow, yesterday was just such a great day.
After weeks of writer/artist block, I was suddenly able to be creative again. It felt so good. I made the new American Romance cover & worked on my story for pennyplainknits's exciting fic project. It just felt so joyous to be doing something again.\o/
I went to bed with such a happy buzz - & then saw these! More shots from the Australian GQ photo shoot!

Fnnngh! What a way to end an already amazing day! :)
