OMG! New extended trailer!
*meep*
2012 is shaping up to be such a good year, movie wise - The Avengers & The Hobbit!
\o/

Love the 'We have a Hulk' line. *snort*
No dialogue from my favourite - Thor - but he did look awfully pretty (& buff!)
*guh*

I also saw the Superbowl ad for The Voice online.  I don't watch it, but I do love Blake Shelton & this is such a hoot!

LOL!

Hee!
This made me smile (& do watch right until the end past the credits. *g*)

*snort*
Love it! *g*

In other news - I'm absolutely loving Blake Shelton's new album: 'Red River Blue'!
I do wish he was playing anywhere near our road trip next month, but no luck. He was so amazing in concert when we saw him in Montana.

And last but definitely not least - happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] gblvr!
*hugs*
Wishing you a fabulous, fun-filled day! \o/

"Our birthdays are feathers in the broad wing of time"
~ Jean Paul Richter

Two very special people celebrate their birthdays today.

Happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] thisisbone & [livejournal.com profile] liresius!

For [livejournal.com profile] thisisbone:~

a zip of some unplugged Blake Shelton tracks - 'Stripped - Raw & Real'

(Right-click & save & then unzip. *g*)

~*~

For [livejournal.com profile] liresius:~

A little McShep ficlet.

“I think, Colonel,” Rodney said with all the precise solemnity of only the very drunk, “that I may - possibly - be just the tiniest little bit tipsy.”

Hope you both have wonderful days, girls! ♥

CMT.com reports:~

Blake Shelton has recorded one of the songs performed during NBC's Clash of the Choirs for an upcoming NASCAR Nationwide series race. Shelton and the choir reunited in Oklahoma City to record "Home," the Marc Broussard song from the show -- not his current single of the same name, originally recorded by Michael Bublé. The song will open the Camping World 300 presented by Chevrolet on Saturday (Feb. 16) and will also be featured as bumps and rollouts during the race telecast. The race will air on ESPN2 at 12 p.m. ET.

How cool!
I don't actually know anything about NASCAR (beyond a cute McShep AU I read once) but I think it's lovely that Blake has reformed his choir.

~

And very happy birthdays to [livejournal.com profile] liamar13 & [livejournal.com profile] ardent_muses!!!

~

Oh, & we were catching up with some earlier eps of 'Men in Trees' last night & who should be guest starring but Nick Lea and Callum Keith Rennie? In the same ep! Woot! Now that's what I call a bonus. ♥

Mr B & I had a lovely day down in London yesterday & the Terracotta Army exhibition at the BM was amazing. They'd placed it in the Reading Room & it was beautifully presented. The actual terracotta soldiers & horses, etc were breath-taking. I can really recommend this exhibition. Oh & do pay the extra £3.50 for the audio tour - it's excellent.

~

Thank you to everyone who'd been helping me in my search for 'Clash of the Choirs' (especially [livejournal.com profile] tarlanx & [livejournal.com profile] liresius *hugs*.) I've got them! Yay!
We've watched the first three eps & now have the finale to watch this evening.
Oh, I do ♥ Blake Shelton so much.
That's him in my icon in case you don't know who the heck I'm talking about!
He's so funny & I must admit his humour is a welcome relief for me with some of the other more 'worthy' guest choir masters.
I think all the choirs are excellent.
Oh, & thanks to the fabulous [livejournal.com profile] thisisbone for keeping me updated before I was even able to watch it - & putting up with all my Blake Shelton squee! *g*

~

I'm honoured to say that Green Glass has been nominated in the [livejournal.com profile] mome_awards - which is lovely as I've just added more in this 'verse!
It's in the RPS Classics section under Sean Bean/Orlando Bloom Long Fiction here.
Do go & check out all the great stories & vote (for me, for me! *g* Seriously - for your favourites!)

Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] foxrafer for organising these awards!

~

I've received my gift from the [livejournal.com profile] sga_santa.
Do go here & read it - it's so sweet. ♥

Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] moonlettuce & [livejournal.com profile] alyse for all their hard work in organising this exchange.

Please do try & leave feedback for any of the stories that you enjoy at this comm (or any other) - as a writer/artist I know how happy I am to hear what people think. And how depressing it can be when the comments are few & far between...

Here's another festive song to help with the holiday spirit. ♥

Born on Christmas Day by Brad Paisley
Please 'right-click & save'!

I like this because this is a song he wrote & performed when he was eleven or so & that's been blended in with him singing it now.

~

It was so cold & frosty when I went running this morning - I think my face froze! *g* It felt good to blow the cobwebs out though after being in the bustle of the city yesterday.

I've still had no luck in finding 'Clash of the Choirs' to view & so she's found some clips of Blake Shelton & his choir. Yay, I've been able to see the big cute goof in action!

Check out her post with links here.

*flail*
Oh, & when he does the pointy thing when his choir are singing? He does that when he's in concert too - it's adorable.
I loved that he played his guitar while they sang.
*meep*
Go, Team Shelton!!!
I liked the way he had a couple of military guys in his choir. My cousin is a Royal Marine Commando & has just started his second tour in Afghanistan, he'll be away for six months.

Heh, now I want to see Blake in concert again - looks like checking where he's playing next summer & organising our holiday around that... again! *g*
