I was running around the wood this morning & tripped over a root. I went full out on my stomach, banging my knees & grazing my palms on the way down. What a dope! Fortunately, Bud was there to come over & give me a snuggle. ♥
I'm okay - just a bit sore & no doubt bruised as time goes on - & I finished my run (paying extra attention to the ground!)

laura_iskra asked about my running... After not being able to do virtually any last year (with my depression) I'm really happy to be back into it at last. I began just after Christmas with short runs & am keeping up with all of my physio exercises. Mr B & I are running in the Chester Half Marathon in May, & I'm working on a 12 week training plan to get my mileage back up to the 13.1 miles that I'll need. It's actually going really well (stupid falls apart *g*) & I'm pleased with my progress. My longest 'long run' so far has been 8 miles & I'm gradually increasing that week on week. I'm hoping to run another half marathon in about June/July time & then maybe look to an autumn full marathon. I'll see how my knee is, but so far, it's doing brilliantly. *fc*
We've also joined parkrun. parkrun 'organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in. These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and we encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; we welcome you all.' (Taken from parkrun website.) parkrun is a great way to run (or walk/run) & get involved with other runners. I can really rec parkrun - it's friendly, no pressure running & everyone is welcome. There are parkruns all around the world, so if you fancy joining in, do check out their website. :)
In other news: I DLed so many awesome shows this morning - we're going to have lots to watch over the next few days: Supernatural, Person of Interest, Castle, How I Met Your Mother & Rizzoli & Isles. Yay! I love great TV. :)
Happy Wednesday, all! Hope everyone is having a great day!
