My fundraising page for the Shakespeare Marathon has just expired & so I wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who sponsored & supported myself & Mr B.
I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that we raised a total of £655 for Cancer Research!!! Plus a further £108 via people ticking the Gift Aid option.
This is amazing - thank you!
*hugs*
We ran in memory of my wonderful Dad who we lost to cancer in Oct 2006. Hopefully this money can help in the fight to find a cure for this terrible disease.
The page is still accessible if anyone wants a look. :-)

In Buddy news - Bud has discovered that he loves (loves, loves, LOVES) water! *g*
He now takes every opportunity on our walks to pop into the brook for a mooch & dip. Honestly, I can't get him out! He wades along, disappearing into the reeds & all I can see is his tail!
I don't have pics but I will try to take the camera along & get some.

I also took him on his first run with me. Yay!
We walked to the woods the other morning & when we got there, I let him off the lead & I began to run. He was so excited at first - sort of leaping around me as if to say "What ya doin', Mom?!" *g* Then he got used to idea & ran too - looking very pleased with himself, I must say. ♥
Sometimes he'd mooch a bit but then always chase & keep up with me. He was so great - stopping to see other dogs but not hanging about & just following me along.
I only ran for 20 mins but the woods are quite hilly & it gave me (& Bud!) a good workout. He was rather bushed when we got home. *g*

Oh, last night as we were heading off on our walk we met a seven month old Norwegian Elk Hound called Edie. She was so cute & she & Bud made quite a bit of fuss of each other. Well, Edie had a stick which she dropped while we were talking. I didn't pay much attention & off we went on our walk but when we were coming back (the same route unusually enough), Bud pounced on Edie's stick which was still on the pavement & proudly carried it home (where he then proceeded to chew it up! LOL)
Oh, Buddy! ♥

He's currently tuckered out, asleep by my feet. We've had a new kitchen sink fitted this morning & Bud obviously had to oversee matters. It's tiring work, you know. ;-)
