New fic & other stuff

bluespiritWent to give blood today - I failed the initial iron test again & had to have the more accurate haemoglobin scan. I squeaked through right on the line & was able to donate.
If it's not my haemoglobin levels, it's them checking that I'm not too underweight to give, so I'm glad I was able to this time. :-)

For the 'select' *g* group of people actually reading my Mike & Gus Fates universe (we're going to hold our annual meeting in a telephone box *g*) - I've written another snippet (~ 600 words).
It's not the high school reunion fic, I'm afraid. That has got delusions of grandeur & is turning out to be more of a real story & not just a snippet, but I'm working on it. *g*

neverilien & gblvr for the heads up.)
He was playing yet another AU version of Rodney & I'm again so impressed by this man's acting ability. This new McKay was so recognisably McKay but with such subtle differences that made him completely different to our Rodney & to Rod (& to 'Mr Fantastic' Rodney too!) You could see that he was more contained & careful with his words - as you might well be living under martial law. DH gives such a nuanced performance - he really is just bloody good.
Oh, & cute in the glasses too! ;-)
