More bits & bobs

I've been a bit scarce due to RL busy stuff but also watching The Long Way Round with Ewan & Charlie.
*squee*
They're so cute & I absolutely loved it! Plus Ewan did show his bottom off quite a bit as well as there being other general nekkidness. (g)
And well done tesco.com for delivering it the next day!!!
I'm very excited to have booked tickets to see the lovely Mr McGregor in Guys & Dolls in the West End this June.
I was really disappointed to miss out on Serena in the panto so I've booked early to make sure we see Ewan! Wonder if he'll manage to keep his clothes on? ;-)
If you haven't nominated for the
slashy_oscars yet then please do; the deadline is Feb 2nd.
Apparently the number of nominations will decide which fics make it into each category so every one helps!
You can find my fic in my memories here.
The dates of writing/posting are stated & only those for 2004 are eligible.
Talking of fic - the latest chapter of Dancing with the Daffodils by
marialayne has been up for a few days. Hooray!
Plus
eirien_rhovan has written a really wonderful Vampire AU with Sean/Orlando. Check it out : A Red Sun Rises
I'm using my only vampire icon in honour of this fabulous fic - though the vampire!pixie is hardly very scary (g).
Gacked from
coreopsis:
Your preferred method of reading smut (on-line, printed out, on your pda, etc.)?
On my eBook - that way I can read it in bed or in the conservatory (or when I'm travelling, etc.)
I used to print & bind fic but it's so bulky - though it does have the advantage that you can read it in the bath! So I do have a few faves printed for that reason (g).
I still have a few treasured zines too - though they're definitely not going to be risked in the bath! ;-)
Your current handsoap in the bathroom?
What a bizarre question!
Hand-made lavender & rosemary that I bought at a craft fayre in Bellingham, WA.
Your current or most recent drink?
Lemon & ginger tea.
Last time you had a headache? And why?
I suffer with photo-sensitivity & get a lot of headaches (& migraines) - so pretty much everyday. :-(
What did you take/do for it?
Nurofen plus lavender oil rubbed into my temples.
Last DVD you watched? How was it?
The Long Way Round - Ewan McGregor & Charlie Borman riding around the world on motorbikes. It was excellent!
What does it look like outside the closest window?
Grey & rainy - that really fine rain that's really wet & soaks you through. *sporfle* Sorry - if you don't know Peter Kay that really doesn't mean much!
What does your favourite tee shirt have on it?
Difficult - I have quite a few that I really like. A white one I got in Nelson, Canada that has a black lab & says 'Puppy Love' is really cute plus my baby!Spock one I got at the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas that says 'Live Long & Prosper'. (g) Then I have my Legolas & Jack&Will ones that I got at Thanksgiving so it really is a tough decision! LOL
And a very happy birthday to
razzleslash - hope you have a fabulous day!
