Bits & pieces

I missed Ewan's 'The Long Way Round' on Sky One & have been looking for it on dvd but didn't fancy paying the full price (g).
I've just ordered it from tesco.com for £11.50 incl. postage - I don't think that's too bad at all!
Now, if I can just find Billy Connolly's World Tour of New Zealand going cheap or win the bid I've put on a copy on eBay, I'll be over the moon. :-)
Recorded Desperate Housewives last night & am itching to watch it - I am so addicted to this show already, thank goodness it's finally being shown here.
Now we just have to wait for someone to pick up Lost - please!
Oh, & when will we get new CSI please?
Grrrr...I hate how we have to wait for shows to eventually make it across the Atlantic. I mean it's not that far - I'd offer to carry the cans in my suitcase if that would help! ;-)
Speaking of which (in a round about sort of way in my convoluted thought process anyway) - I've just booked up the flights & hotel for next month's annual slashathon at Escapade!!!
Yay!!!
xanthefic & I are spending a few days in Disneyland prior to the con. I'm so excited 'cus I've booked us rooms at The Disneyland Hotel & it says that we have pixie dust on the ceiling that glows!! (Yeah, I'm easily pleased, I know!)
Plus I adore Disneyland & PotC was always my favourite ride even before Orli made the film. (g)
We have five day passes to both parks but I know I'll be riding Pirates every day (I rode it six times last year & will probably beat that this time!)
Plus there'll be time for shopping, of course!
Then it's meeting up with Ann & off to Oxnard for the con & three days of nothing but slash!!! (And probably more shopping!)
*happy sigh*
Btw - I've finally updated my website with my fic!
I've also uploaded a collated version of Green Glass if anyone doesn't want to wade through individual chapters. Well, it's actually so big that I had to post it in two big chunks here.
'Thank you for being so strong, baby.' Kris to Jon - The Amazing Race (my favourite couple - they're completely adorable together.)

So that looks like it fits in with your schedule too without you having to switch or anything. :-)

I need to do some new manips too - I'm hoping for inspiration in that gorgeous glossy photo book that I bought in London. :-)

Date: 13 Jan 2005 02:58 pm (UTC)I hear ya there, sister!!! *wink* Stupid hubby decided that I can just wait patiently for The Calcium Kid to hopefully be released in the US. Stupid husband. Okay, so it's not a show ... but all the same, it feels like everyone has seen it but me! *wails and feels pathetic*
Oooh ... I hope you have a fabulous time at Disney. I've only ever been to DisneyWorld. Eventually, now that we live on the west coast, I imagine we'll make it to Disneyland. PotC was always my favorite ride, too :)
