bluespiritWe're back home from a lovely few days in York. What a super city with some fascinating history & a wealth of tea rooms! *g*
It was a nice relaxing break & Mr B & I managed to fit in a really lovely run along the river & around the roman/mediaeval walls too.
But it's good to be home with Rascal again. ♥
Speaking of running - just been checking my upcoming races. This is what I'm doing so far.
May 3rd - Dudley-Kingswinford 10K in aid of Dogs Trust (dog charity)
June 4th - Race for Life 5K in aid of Cancer Research UK
Sept 3rd - Hydro Active Women's Challenge 5K in aid of The Blue Cross (animal charity)
I'm also looking for another Half-Marathon for the Autumn. I really enjoyed the one I did last month & want to do another one before I have a go at training for a full marathon. All being well I'd like to do a full M next Spring. :-)
Oh, & while I was away I got hit by a great big Atlantis fic idea. It's McShep (natch! *g*) & looks like it's going to be a big plot driven thing that'll take me ages to write (at my very slow pace). I'm just letting it percolate through my brain a little bit as I iron out some of the details. Still - it's lovely to have a nice little fantasy to daydream with. ♥
