Ewan, John & McShep - wow!

I've just got home from the most fabulous few days staying with the lovely xanthefic. ♥
We had a really, really great time - we chatted (to the point where I'm surprised that we're not both hoarse), we shopped (yay - I have the SGA Season One companion & a cute Chilli Pepper top) & we ate (mmmm...Gu...chocolate orgasm... *slurp*.) (g)
We also saw Ewan in Guys & Dolls - second row seats meaning that we had the most amazing view. He was fabulous as always & we both decided he was just too cute for words & we definitely wanted to take him home with us. (g)
We also saw A Few Good Men with *swoon* hunky John Barrowman & Rob Lowe. This was a truly breath-taking production. I absolutely loved it - though I was rather embarrassed to find that it was just us & flyingnorth (who'd joined us for the evening) on the front row - could we have looked more like fangirls if we'd tried? ;-)

Then yesterday we took a day off to just chill out in front of the telly. We watched Stargate Atlantis dvds all day long. LOL
It was brilliant & I think my subtle pimping (g) has managed to convert Xanthe. In fact she came up with a brilliant fic that I hope she'll now write. It was great fun discussing it & thrashing out the details. I think I was especially helpful by pointing out how good John looks in his thigh holster...& in his commando gear...& in his black shirt... & in... Well, you get the picture. (g)

So - a wonderful few days away in slash land. ♥
