Now I'm just spoilt...

I'm back home after a truly wonderful few days down in London with
xanthefic.
The day at The Sanctuary was unbelievably fabulous!
It was so relaxing & soothing - just wafting about in a bath robe all day & being pampered. :-) I could definitely get used to that!
My massage was the best I've ever had - I asked for it to be really deep tissue because of my running & she really worked me over! LOL But in a good way & I was as limp as a piece of spaghetti when it was done.
My streamlining treatment was very invigorating - it was a mint & seaweed wrap thing which was cold! (g) But I do actually think that my skin seems smoother & tighter (though I'm not convinced that it's reduced any cellulite!) While I was lying all wrapped up (g) she gave me a really wonderful head massage too - I could've just fallen asleep.
And the body polish was brilliant - like a really good body scrub but lying down on this table in a wet room & having it all done for me!
The actual spa itself was really lovely too - very tranquil & calm.
I used the pool & the aqua aerobics equipment & then had to 'rest' in the sauna (& the steam room & the jacuzzi! *wink*)
Xanthe & I completed the day in style by doing some shopping & then eating at our favourite Soho restaurant, Balans, & checking out all the cute gay waiters. ;-)
So, here I am - home again & obviously overjoyed to see my two boys but also a little tired, all that pampering can be hard work! LOL But I definitely feel good!
I did make a start on a Green Glass interlude while I was on the train but I had one of those backwards facing seats & it made me feel a bit ill to write so I'll try to complete it this week.
I also outlined the sequel to GG - Living the Happily Ever After - to Xanthe & she seemed very happy with my ideas so I feel very positive about it all. :-)
Oh, & when I got back the latest The Amazing Race dvd had arrived from Ann & so we watched that last night!
I am so addicted to this show - but please don't anyone spoil it for me - we're only upto the ep shown a couple of weeks ago which ends with the cliffhanger of Lori & Bolo stuck overnight at the train station trying to get to Budapest (I think that's where they're going - I was squeeing so much it's a bit fuzzy!) Plus we saw the compilation ep they did - but we're now waiting for the next two eps, Ann has recorded them & is sending them this week. Yippee - you go, airmail!!! (g)
I've been rewatching the eps we have so far over the last few weeks & now want to sit & watch them all again!
Um, did I mention how much I love this show? (g)
Um, okay - I think that's enough hyperactivity for me for a while (g).
