Ouch & yay!

I spent most of the morning at the dentist & am now very, very sore but in possession of a new crown & a filling. On opposite sides, of course, so I can't really chew anywhere & it hurts all over. :(
Never mind, Mr B & I started our Christmas rewatch of the LotR trilogy (the extended eds) last night, so now I'm looking forward to settling down later for The Two Towers (my favourite of the three.) \o/

Also, posting is almost over at h5o_art_santa & sga_art_santa & there's so much beautiful artwork to enjoy. I'd like to rec the gifts that I received because they're both beautiful:

+ A Festive Collection for Five-O with a couple of very cute & funny pieces & also a very suave looking 'prezzie' under the tree. *g*

+ Elf Angel for SGA. OMG! It's elf!John & angel!Rodney & it's the cutest, most adorable thing I've ever seen. I love it! ♥

And if you're into Suits - or not (I've never seen an ep) then my sweet & lovely xanthelj has written a gorgeous feel-good, Christmas-y fic, 'The Christmas Tree' - with a cameo by certain decorations from our tree! Hee!

I've just spent the afternoon in Sainsburys AND M&S and can safely say I'm not feeling high on goodwill to all men right now! I am looking forward to a nice cuppa and a bit of a rest before unpacking everything!

I was at my dentist's two days ago too - it was my third appointment with the same tooth. I *always* end up with that nasty root channel treatment and it always takes a few appointments.... *sighs*

Yes, slow but sure - going back to see the consultant tomorrow when, hopefully, the dressing can come off which will give a little more mobility. Then it's just a case of exercise, physio, exercise, physio ...

I've been out of the loop lately, but I am sorry to hear about your dental woes--ouch! The last time I had major dental work done, I didn't eat for a week! Hope all resolved smoothly since then!

Better than expected! I had a lovely Christmas Eve with D, Kenya was frisky and difficult to catch Christmas Day, and I had a relatively pleasant day with the family too. One of my better Christmases, I'd have to say! :-)

She's doing well. I was thinking about just walking her under saddle today, but decided to wait until Thursday when this bitter cold snap passes. She came trotting up for breakfast with nary a cough though, so I am very pleased! Thank you so much for asking--that really means a lot to me, to know that you care. ;-)

I hope all dental pain is a distant memory now. I really need to rewatch the movies again. I always worry that once I start I'll end up watching every film and all the extras and do nothing else for days. *g*

LOL We just watched the films (extended eds, of course. *g*) though I may have to start on the extras, too. I'm in such a Middle Earth frame of mind right now. :)
