And the ever lovely hildejohanne had flowers delivered for us both! Thanks again, Hilde - that was just so thoughtful. (And thank you for my virtual balloons, too. I love balloons! \o/)

I'm glad you guys had such a nice weekend--what a lovely and thoughtful thing for hildejohanne to have done!

You know, I'm seeing more people lately settling down to the handful of social media interactions that make them comfortable and I find it interesting what reasons people give! The reasons are usually the same as mine, only we feel that way about different platforms. :-)

I'm not keen on googlegroups for my mailing lists but a lot of people hate yahoo. I dislike Facebook and Dreamwidth and spend a lot of time on Twitter (probably because I can check it on my phone) but I totally missed these tweets from David Hewlett! Wah! They would have made my day! Maybe I should subscribe to the feeds as well.

I must admit that I'm not on any mailing lists these days. The ones I was on seem to have fallen into disuse. I'm really just an LJ & email kinda girl. *g*

My dog friends are on a list and I participate on a bunch of author lists now. Or rather, I lurk on a lot of lists now. :-)

I prefer LJ and email myself. I like the greater tendency to have conversations :-)

I think Twitter is a great platform for 'announcing' things--you know, come check out 'x'. You can imagine by struggle to limit myself to 140 characters! ;-)
