I also love how, when Steve mentions calling Catherine to get the text de-coded, and the camera is still focused on him, we see Danny's hand waving in the lower right hand corner of the screen. I've noticed that a few times--Danny's hands frequently make an appearance onscreen without him. ♥

Yeah, she's been rather absent, but I wondered if that might have something to do with Michelle Borth (sp?) landing a pilot (or actual show, I'm not sure) & being less available.
