LOL I started watching it yesterday and.. argh, let's say that not even the power of misha could redime that :p so I skipped around to get at least some misha!faces and the ending.. guh!!!
It was pretty much completely awful. I actually felt sorry for the main actors as they were trying their best with such risible dialogue. But yeah - Misha was very good to look at. ;-)
YEahhh Misha, torri and Peter Wingfield. Plus Hill HArper, can see that even if it's not so good, i can see a bad movie when the cast please me, need just a remote to go to their scene.
Oh come on! The Misha was truly fabulous *giggles* Although the film failed on so many levels, but I'll put up with a lot to watch Misha running around in tight jeans... a real lot. Boa vs Python? *hugs* Actually for a budget film the fx were kinda ok. It was the foam rubber Stonehenge that just had me luaughing so much.
I didn't mind the lack of budget so much - more the lack of a coherent script! *g* Though they all struggled valiantly with the pseudo science & shoddy dialogue. LOL Plus Misha was adorable & Peter W suitably stern & then heroic at the end & Torri was lovely as ever (though not sure if she was British or Canadian. *g*) It's no Boa though, sorry. ;-) Boa I have actually watched many (many) times because I ♥ Emmett so much. *g*
I think Henge Apoc is my Boa then. It was one of few not so weird character roles for Misha. I know he does weird so well but it was just nice to see him 'not' playing a psycho for once. A bit like seeing Bean playing a good guy! I think the dialogue kinda flew by me in some ways, it was the race fail that was the one thing that really really stuck in my craw. *sigh* But I shall do what you do with Boa and rewatch all the Misha bits! :) *hugs*
Well, if anyone but DHew had been playing Emmett then I doubt I'd have watched (let alone rewatched!) Boa! *g* I do agree re Misha's role - it was nice to see him being the hero, & he was quirky but not downright weird.
I actually edited Boa & made myself a copy purely with the DH scenes so that I don't even have to skim past the others! Obsessed? Moi? ;-)
Eeeek, doooooon't give me ideas. *eyes video editing software* And yeah if anyone but Misha had been playing Jacob I doubt I'd have given it a first let alone a second glance!
Not obsessed at all, just having a healthy fantasy life... that's my version anyway.
That movie was so bad even throwing more money at it wouldn't have helped. SyFy has gone so far down the hill they are rolling in the load of horse manure at the bottom! I pity the actors they convinced (or was it by shotgun?)to star let alone keep a straight face through filming that not worth the paper it was written on script!
I think you know what you're going to get when you see the fateful words 'SyFy Original'! *g* At least it gives us a chance to see some of our favourite actors though. ♥
