Hmmm, not sure why I'm doing this & please don't feel that you have to read!
I just thought that it might help explain me a little...


First best friend: Lindsey (in infant school)
First car: a bright yellow 850cc Mini (I loved that car!)
First real kiss: God, I can't actually remember his name - it was a lad at school & we were in the school production together. I know - that's awful isn't it?
First screen name: Bodiebabe (as in Bodie from The Professionals)
First funeral: My uncle's.
First pet: Lordy - a cross between a Lab & a Boxer. He was fantastic & I grew up with him (he lived to be 15 & I still miss him & have his picture in our lounge.)
First piercing: Ears (only piercing) when I was 14.
First credit card: Um, I think it was a VISA when I started Uni.
First musicians you remember hearing in your house: Hank Williams (my dad is a total fan.)

Last cigarette: I've never had one.
Last car ride: Did the grocery shopping yesterday.
Last kiss: About an hour ago, when my husband got home from work.
Last good cry: This afternoon - some fandom/friend stuff got to me.
Last library book checked out: Yikes, I can't remember - I don't really borrow books anymore, I tend to buy.
Last movie seen: at the cinema? Collateral (on holiday - a rainy day in Whistler).
Last phone call: Spoke to my mom this morning.

Last item bought: I had blinds fitted in the conservatory today & had to pay for them - a *lot* (but they are lovely!)
Last annoyance: someone I thought was a friend turning out not to be & me never really getting closure (actually this is more of a heartache than an annoyance.)
Last disappointment: see above. I miss this friendship & still wonder what happened.
Last shirt worn: Winnie the Pooh (What?! I got it at Disneyland!)

Current annoyance(s): that I let myself get so upset over things/people/situations & that really it can't be so important in the scheme of things

That is so cool!
I just adore my blue flames & wear them so much. I got them at an outlet mall in Las Vegas - god, I *love* to shop in America! Roll on Thanksgiving - my next big friend/shopping visit. (g)
I also have a pair of pink ones too (being such a big, silly girly girl!)
I'm looking to start a collection of colours I think. Though I tend to prefer the high tops.

I love that you have the orange flames & that Katie bought them for you.

I found it all very interresting and I'm so sad to hear about your fandom friend *warm embrace*
I've been there and I know how it hurts and how you can just sit there and wonder how in the world did everything suddenly go so bad?
But you're right. Us who live a lot in fandom/online life can often take such blows to heart in a way which wasn't really called for.
And you're lucky...You have a loving husband and friends around you. You have a lot. I hope that can help you when online life turns from being the escape it should be and becomes an instrument of sorrow and pain. *blows healing kisses*
