Whenever Orlando had imagined having sex with Sean - and imagine it he had on numerous sweat-soaked occasions that left floods of come pooling on his overheated skin - he’d never imagined the gentleness.

The Sean of his fantasies was a forceful, demanding lover who took what he wanted whilst whispering filthy words of encouragement that inflamed Orlando’s senses.
The Sean of his dreams was focussed, fucking him hard with a deliberateness of purpose.
The Sean of his imagination thrust into his body with a punishing rhythm that brought them both to wrenching climax, shattering Orlando into pieces, only to be made whole by being taken by Sean once more.

But the Sean of his reality was an entirely different thing.

The real Sean, his Sean, was single minded but only in his worship of Orlando. The words were whispered but they were words of love, words of devotion.
The lovemaking lasted for hours and when Sean finally drove them both to sweet completion Orlando still shattered into pieces but strong arms gathered him close and made them one.

Fantasies were all right but Orlando felt blessed that he had finally found reality.

I'm trying to think of some sort of intelligent feedback to give here, but only one word-beautiful-keeps coming to mind. And that it was. The tenderness, the softness, all just breath-takingly beautiful. I love the image of Sean being a gentle, thoughtful patient lover. I feel like that's a side of him that's too often neglected and you portrayed it...*tries to think of new word-gives up*...beautifully! :)

This is a lovely ficlet and the pic with it is beautiful, I have seen Sean being interviewed on TV a few times and heard him on the radio just being himself and he is a total contradiction to the characters he plays....quite serious and quietly spoken. Well done.
