Eric watched.
In the dust and oppressive heat of Malta.
In the sun and shimmering spray of Mexico.
And finally, in the flash bulb pop and champagne crush of Cannes.
He watched the lip licks, the tongue pokes - like a synchronised performance in the oral Olympics, a perfect mirroring of mouth, lips and tongue.
But more than this, in the quiet times, he watched the shy half glances, the lowering of eyes and secret shared smiles when they thought that no one was aware.
Just mates…good friends.
Yeah, Eric snorted, smiling to himself.
Who were they trying to kid?
