Hydroactive Challenge

I ran the Hydroactive Challenge yesterday in Birmingham. This was my 5th year & yet again we had lovely weather!
I'm rather chuffed to have done a PB for the 5K course, finishing in just under 28 minutes. But more importantly, I was running to raise money for The Blue Cross, which is one of the UK's oldest pet charities.
Mr B, my Mom & the fabulous cheerleading lantean_drift came along with me & we had a great morning. A big thank you to them for their sponsorship & encouragement.

As always, Rascal took charge of my medal... *g*

Fic rec: SGA

If you fancy a good old-fashioned romantic read that leaves you feeling all warm & fuzzy afterwards, then I can really rec Ways to Die in the Pegasus Galaxy by crysothemis.
There's a lovely slow build-up, with John at his adorkable best, not really understanding what's happening (oh, John!) & some beautiful woobie!Rodney (oh, Rodney!) & then just some of the most gorgeous snuggling that I've read in a long time (oh, boys!)
This was one of those stories that I just never wanted to end.
*happy sigh*
