Panic - only not really

Wow, I turned the Mesh on this morning & there was a weird pattern on the monitor & then the smell of burning dust & then nothing!
*panic*
I phoned an emergency PC guy from out of the Yellow Pages at 11am. He came round, tried to fix it but couldn't, took it away & then brought it back 4 hours later completely working! In fact I asked him to upgrade it for me while he was at it & so now it's working better than ever before. I know have 1GB RAM, 120GB HD & a 128MB graphic card.
Wheeeeee! This thing is fast!
I was certain I'd be without my PC (& internet, etc) for days & here I am back online! I'd certainly rec this guy. Mr B says it was worth the cost (which was pretty reasonable I think) for not having to listen to me weeping & wailing about not being able to get onto the internet for the next few days. (g)

Mind you, I was so relieved that I'd got a 'clean' McShep wallpaper set as I couldn't get onto the damn thing to swap it! Heh.
