I went for a lovely 5 mile run last night. It was cooler yesterday than it had been & so it was much more pleasant - plus I happily ran along with John & Rodney in my ear for company. *g*
I don't actually have any more races until the autumn now but I'm keeping my schedule going as I really do enjoy my running so much. Though I've tended to be a bit lazy & just run & not do anything else, so I've bought some free weights. (Mr B has some but they're way too heavy for me & I couldn't really be bothered with keep unscrewing them & taking some of the masses off, etc.) It was so funny when I got my weights though because they're very bright, girly hand weights - pink, green & purple ones. I put the purple ones on the floor & Rask thought they were squeaky toys for him, poor boy! Well, he does have several toys that are brightly coloured & shaped like dumb bells! I had to distract him with his squeaky rubber turkey leg pronto! LOL
Speaking of my furry boy, I had to take this pic of him asleep in his basket. How on earth he can sleep like this, I really don't know! LOL

And going with the cute dog theme, here's my latest wallpaper...

I just love the way that Orlando takes Sidi to photo shoots!

Pic courtesy of the lovely ladies at [livejournal.com profile] faces_fit. Thank you!

It was the final ep of this series of Dr Who last night. Oh, wow - I thought it was fabulous. I won't say any more in case people haven't seen it yet but I cried solidly for the last 5 minutes.
Russell The T has done us proud yet again.

And because no post is complete without John & Rodney...

*squidges the Rascally one*

M going home to take Bert to the hairdressers. His coat is way too thick, poor boy! And Bert also like to sleep like that - they have their own doggy logic!

*hugs you both*

Awesome wallpaper. Can you post the link to that? I love a man who loves dogs. Your dog is adorable too. Mine sleeps like that too. Ive never understood it but that's the only way he'll sleep soundly.

Yeah, it looks so uncomfortable but he sleeps soundly like it.

I don't think the comm allows links to the posts but here's the pic (on my server).

When I watched Doctor Who last night, I started blubbering when Pete rescued Jackie and they ran and hugged each other, by the end of the episode I was in floods of tears. Then I watched it again this morning with hubby, son and daughter and both myself and daughter(9) ended up crying together. Thank goodness they did not kill her off ;-)

Ok. I gotta ask. Which episode is this? I know some places get the shows weeks ahead of us over here in the US and that's not ringing any bells. And final episode of "this series" do you mean the ep before a midseason break? Cause I wouldn't think that season 2 is over already. Cripes! I need to get to downloading!

Doomsday - it's the last ep of series 2. We have much shorter series in the UK - I think this one was 13 eps.
Series 3 will start at Xmas I think - or that may just be the Xmas special like we had last year.

I've really enjoyed series 2 & David T was brilliant as the new Dr. :-)

Thats how Malcolms always slept, but then again she use to sit at the kitchen table. She thinks she's a humen. She tried walking on two legs. Its kind of sad.

:-D

DH's Dog is so cute! and JF's dog doesnt suit him at all cause its a little furry white dog but cute non the less.

Thanks! Cute pics of Joe. It seems he likes the slightly scruffy - if not downright bearded - look.

I miss having a dog. Or a cat. I'm more of a dog person, though. I just don't have a decent enough backyard for one. It's small and mostly concrete. I used to be like "The more the merrier." but now I just want one really good companion. As cute as puppies are, I'd rather get a rescued dog. Take him home from the shelter. That'd be nice. I've already warned hubby that when we move someday - and I'm not moving into a house without a good backyard - we're getting a dog.

We got Rascal from a Labrador rescue shelter - he'd been mistreated & abandoned.
He was very nervous with new people for years & is still very dependent but he's such a happy boy now. We've had him for over 10 years & he's the centre of our world. ♥
