*squeeeee*
I loved it!

*sigh*
On the downside:~
I loved it!

*sigh*
- OMG - Orlando is just gorgeous. Okay, that's not exactly news but he's extra gorgeous in this. Heh - these are going to be insightful & thoughtful comments aren't they? *ggg*
- Johnny is as outrageous & captivating as ever. *dies at the swagger*
- I love that they've brought back so many of the original cast - Jack Davenport! *squee*
- I really liked the story - so many plot twists that my head was spinning but it kept me enthralled all the way through.
- But, but...humongous (& very cool) cliffhanger! Aaagh! Is it next year yet?
- Davy Jones was incredibly well realised - both through Bill Nighy's excellent performance & the amazing prosthetics/effects.
- The action was great - lots of cool sword fights & some brilliant set pieces.
- The Kraken (sp?) was really well done & I like the whole thing with Bootstrap Bill.
- As in the first film, I just squeed over all the little references to the actual ride (my favourite Disneyland ride of all time anyway.) Loved the bit in 'the bayou' with the fireflies - it was just like eating at The Blue Bayou. *g*
On the downside:~
- There were times when the lead players were split up (understandably for the plot) but it seemed like we didn't see so much of Jack.
- What happened to the dog?!!!!! They'd better sort that out!
- We have to wait until next year to find out what happens. *wails*

Date: 7 Jul 2006 05:19 pm (UTC)How are you? Things have been somewhat uneven here but I'm still fighting it..even though depression is a cheating bugger. As I am sure you know. How's your Dad?
Oooooh, the last one Doctor Who tomorrow!!! Can't wait. Then Torchwood in the autumn.....and Captain Jack *squees like mad woman*

*hugs*
My Dad's doing okay, thanks - this latest round of chemo didn't have such nasty side-effects, thank goodness.
Yeah, can't wait for Dr Who tonight & then our other Capt. Jack. *g*

Date: 7 Jul 2006 06:35 pm (UTC)I loved the movie, I thought it waqs delightful. William was even more handsome than POTC1 and Jack was superb.
The action was tremendous fun and I was giggling all day remembering bits and pieces.
If you sit through 4 minutes of credits you find out what happens to the dog :-)
