OMG!
They delivered our new TV today - it's absolutely huge!
I'm in love...
37"-widescreen-flatscreen-high definition-LCD McShep!!!!!!
*guh*
Tis a thing of breath-taking beauty to see those boys together in such beautiful resolution.
I sat & watched Rising this afternoon & couldn't believe how many little details I'd missed before.
I could have quite happily continued watching Atlantis all night but Liverpool are playing & Mr Bluespirit somehow managed to have a UN veto type thing going on & finagled Sky Sports instead! Nevermind - I'll ogle watch some more tomorrow... ;-)
I also can't wait to watch my Kingdom of Heaven dvd now that I'll actually be able to see Orli in all his widescreen glory. (g)

Yeah, I know this icon doesn't really fit but I wanted to use it 'cus it's new & I love Joe's eyebrow acting... (g)

But that's MASSIVE *whimpers*

So envious......just thinking of all the lovely fellas I could watch in high-def on something like that. :D *closes eyes and imagines Viggo as Aragorn doing his manly turn up on Weathertop there*

For that image alone I would have a tv that large *laughs*

OMFG.....Eric in Troy.....those pecs *faints*

I hadn't really thought our previous telly was small - about 20" (square big tube thing) but now I realise it was like watching stuff on a postage stamp. I really can't believe the difference - it's amazing!
Mr B said that we'll now have to rewatch all the LotR trilogy & see what we were missing! (He's such a great hubby! *g*)
Yeah, then Troy...Eric's pecs, Sean's thighs, Orli's...*everything*!
Oh, & Hidalgo - imagine Viggo's beautiful tear stained eyes filling up a screen that big!
*guh*
I may be sometime... ;-)

Will I need to send out a rescue team?;)

And your hubby rocks *laughs* I'll take ANY excuse to watch the LotR films again....oh yeah, they are so amazing. Now, I WAS going to get KoH but I hear there is an extended version slated for a release next year. So I will be patient and hope that the rumour is true, because the version out now is too choppy;) It'll be good on your new telly though!!! Man, seeing Marton and Liam on that...imagine *glazes over*

KoH was stunning - watched it last night.
Orlando was every bit as gorgeous as I remembered, as were Liam & Marton. ♥
I read that an ext dvd will be released next year.

It's going to be hard for me but think I'll wait for the extended version....must resist the lure of Marton. MUST *bites knuckle*

Oh, and happy birthday...there's more in the e-mail *winks*

I'm not sure what the UK has in terms of true high def content yet, but if you get the chance to catch Troy in HD... don't miss it, is all I can say. DVDs look great, but real high def leaves even DVD in the dust.

I wasn't sure so I checked & apparently we'll get HD digital satellite signals next year. So if things are going to get even better then I may not be able to cope. I thought things looked good now. :-)
