To boldly naan...

I'm making chicken tikka masala this evening & while I was making the marinade, I thought I'd better just check that we'd got naan bread in the freezer*.
Disaster - no naan!
So, I've found a recipe & will be attempting to bake my first lot of naan tonight. *g*

*I make our loaves of bread by hand but have always bought stuff like naan.

I've made naan a couple of times, too :-) They turned out fine, but I do prefer the ones I get at a restaurant :-)

Yeah, it was okay but not as tasty as I'd hoped. I think I'll try a different recipe next time - see if I can find one with a bit more oomph! *g*

Naan is quite easy! Hope yours turned out well. My bestie and I did mini naan in the muffin tin to make little cups, then filled them with hummus, feta, and kalamata olives. Yum!

It's a really lovely flatbread that accompanies a lot of Indian food. :)
