I'm in a very piratical mood at the moment, & no, I'm not about to pillage & plunder...well, unless it's Orli. ;-)
Yes, I'm immersed in pirates. Aaaaargh!

I've been asked to do some illos for a PotC zine being written by two of my favourite authors in the fandom - Kath Moonshine & Glow. The zine is actually a second novel in the universe that they set up in a previous novel called Parley (published in the wonderful zine 'La Chair'.)
They've asked me to do the interior artwork & I'm extremely happy to do so. I spent pretty much all of yesterday working on the first piece - a manip of a sleeping Jack & Will, curled up in each other's arms. I've coloured it sepia to give a warm feeling & I'm actually really pleased with the way that it's turned out. I hope that the authors like it too. :-)
It's unusual for me to complete a complicated manipulation so quickly but it all seemed to flow & I was so engrossed that before I knew it, it was done! Well, okay, pirate_hussies did have to remind me to stop & eat but that's besides the point - it's spooning Will & Jack! (g)
Now to crack on with the next! :-)

Anyway, so to add to my Pirate mood - the wonderful & always generous serein03 & elflady_2001 have been posting the clip & screen caps from Orlando's appearance (in Will Turner guise *squee*) on yesterday's Good Morning America.
See? It must be fate 'cus it's just completely enhancing my 'all things Will & Jack' mood!

This new zine hasn't been published yet & will be a print zine available to buy (I don't know the details yet.)
The previous zine is still in print, I think. I can check with Kath if you'd like to know more. :-)

I wish I had know he was on there. I barely found out Dom was going to be on THE TONIGHT SHOW just before it came on.

I haven't read the novel yet but if it's only half as gripping & fabulous as the first, it'll be amazing.
I adore Parley so, so much & was just overjoyed to be asked to do the illos for its sequel. I went all fangirly! ;-)
