She also asked me to make some cover art, which I was more than happy to do. :)
It's here: Ghosts art

On a less positive note, I went to see the doctor this morning. She's given me some antibiotics for now but is a bit stumped as no infection was showing up in my water sample. She's sent it away to the hospital for further testing.
I'm just hoping the antibiotics can sort it out - the symptoms are hellish. :(
I'm trying to keep my mind off them by being creative...
So, the current count is 4 out of 24 completed.

CH is definitely a lovely feel-good read to help cheer you up, though. :) Hee! Lovely to hear that you're reading MAW, too.

UTIs
Date: 9 Nov 2010 09:53 pm (UTC)When I worked we used to tell patients to drink at least 2 litres of cranberry juice over a short period of time depending on tolerance. It is researched-based - american - and as the cranberry is indigenous there one could think Hmm. But it works - I can personally vouch for that. The antibiotics seem to have a synergistic action & voila.
Love A

I had been drinking more CJ but must admit that I've stopped for the last few days as a friend mentioned that once the bladder wall was under stress from the infection, that the acid in the CJ would irritate it. I had planned to start again - as a preventative measure, hopefully - once this bout was over. I'm halfway through the antibiotics - I'll give the CJ a try again.
