More adventures with Bud
25 Apr 2013 12:18 pmBud & I usually do about 4 miles on our morning walks, but today we went a little farther afield. It's a walk we've done before (with Mr B) but as it takes over 2 hours, I don't tend to do it on a weekday. But today I just felt like pushing on & so we did (Bud didn't complain!)
This walk has a bit of everything - some towpath, some woodland, a stretch of old railway line that has been turned into a long distance walking route & some fields. It also includes a portion of the Monarch's Way - a long-distance footpath that approximates the escape route taken by King Charles II in 1651 after being defeated in the Battle of Worcester.
All we have to do is get onto the towpath (for the Staffordshire & Worcestershire canal) & we're away (just about 15 mins walk from our home.)
I thought I'd share a few pics.

Bud is now curled up with his toy pig & sleeping the sleep of the well & truly tuckered out! ♥
