I'm going to be away on holiday when the big celebration kicks off, so I thought I'd try to do a bit of raising awareness & self-pimping before I go (probably very badly because I get horribly embarrassed at the idea of pushing myself forward, & I doubt that anyone's that interested anyway!)
Anyhoo, my story is in the Hewligan category & pairs Lionel Thayer from Family Album (JFlan) with Emmett from Boa vs. Python (DHew).
It's set in the late 1980s, & I've played around with the timelines so that both characters are of college age.
In case there's anyone who might want to read my story but isn't familiar with the characters:~
This is Lionel...
( *meep* )
and this is Emmett (as he appears in Boa)...
( fnnngh! )
though I imagine the younger Emmett looking a little more like this...

Btw - the Emmett character in the film is only ever credited or referred to as Dr. Emmett or Emmett. I know that means that Emmett is probably his surname, but it became kind of fanon that that was his name. So, when the name Steven Emmett popped up on the IMDB listing a while ago, I'm afraid that I couldn't start thinking of him as Steven - only Emmett.
So, in my story I've called him Emmett Stevens. *g*

The great thing with Big Bang challenges is that you write a story & then someone makes art for it! Do make sure to check out the gorgeous art that has been made for my story too. ♥ (I won't say more because I don't want to spoil the surprise.)
I'm also a Big Bang artist & was so excited by the fabulous story that I was lucky enough to illustrate (again - I can't say more! *g*)
Of course, there are lots more stories & art in a range of fandoms in this Big Bang - so do add the date to your diary & go over on August 6th & check them all out!
