Bits & pieces

Bud & I had to battle through a blizzard to get to the woods this morning! Everything was so beautiful once we were in the relative calm of the trees though, & Bud was pretty excited by it all.
I just hope that Mr B will be able to get home from work okay later.

I've started work on my smallfandom_bb story!

It's for the Hewligan category, & I'm writing Lionel Thayer (JFlan from 'Family Album') & Emmett (DHew from 'Boa vs. Python). My oh-so-catchy working title is 'Boa vs. Family Album'! *g*
I've played around with the timeline so that they're both college age at the same time, so it's Lionel as we see him in FA but a younger Emmett than we see in Boa.
I've wanted to write Lionel for so long, & Emmett is one of my favourite DHew characters (after Rodney!) so I'm excited to have finally come up with a way to get them together. ♥

There's a longer time scale for this Big Bang, & the first draft isn't due until March so I feel pretty happy. Oh, & the minimum word count is only 20,000 which is half of SGA BB & fits in very nicely with how I think my story will pan out.
