Happy meme - day three

1. Buddy!!!! (Of course. *g*)
2. A pair of herons flew over Bud & I as we were walking back from the wood. I love herons - they always look so prehistoric, like pterodactyls! *g* Then, as I was running later on there was a heron on the towpath in front of me. We played a game of tag where I'd carry on running & as I got closer he'd lazily take off & land a little farther ahead. The final time before we parted company, he actually let me get about 10 feet away from him. Amazing to see such a gorgeous, statuesque bird so close in the wild.
