Happy meme - day one

I'm soooo behind with lj & emails but wanted to do this as the lovely sgamadison tagged me a while back.
I won't tag anyone (as I'm so late!) but please feel free to join in if you'd like!

So here are the rules...
EIGHT DAYS OF HAPPY!

1. Post about something that made you happy today, even if it's just a small thing.
2. Do this every day for eight days.
3. Tag eight of your friends to do the same.

Day one (which would actually be yesterday)

1. Buddy makes me happy! ♥
Okay, that comes as no surprise & I doubt anyone will be taking bets on whether he's mentioned every. single. day. *g*

2. Actually both my boys make me very happy - Mr B & the Budster. We all went for a lovely walk up the wood yesterday morning & it was so peaceful (except for some huge black dog charging around chasing squirrels & eating sticks... oh, yeah, that would be Bud... *g*).

3. My training is going well for the Half M in June & I ran 5 miles yesterday in the glorious sunshine. It was an easy run & I was listening to the podfic of thegrrrl2002's 'Yes, Yes, A Thousand Times Yes' read by pennyplainknits & this made me very happy too - one of my favourite authors being read by one of my favourite podficcers! :-)

4. Mr B bought me a beautiful bouquet of orange roses. They were in tight bud & are now just opening up. Gorgeous!

5. John & Rodney - these boys always make me ridiculously happy, whether I'm reading a fic, or writing or manipping, or just daydreaming about them. ♥
