A few 'Oh, Buddy!' moments from the last couple of days that I had to share. *g*

Bud made great friends with the decorator & was very diligent in checking out everything he was doing & then sitting by him until he stopped working & made a fuss! However the one time he managed to sit against newly painted skirting board & we ended up with zebra!Bud! LOL Luckily it was water-based primer & I was able to wash it off easily enough. (Btw - the decorating is done & now it's just new carpets, curtains & furniture to sort out!)

Mr B was going on a field trip with some of the kids from his school to the Malvern Hills yesterday. I was planning to drive over with Bud to meet up with them there & so I took Bud to the park for a run around before the journey. There are some houses backing on to one side of the park & the wall was broken down to the one - so of course Mr Nosey got into the garden & the next thing I could see was him going into the house! Aaagh! I was calling to no avail & couldn't get into the garden myself because of thick bushes, etc. Then he reappears - with the butcher (the house was actually the back of the village butcher shop!) The butcher leads him to the wall & Bud jumps back into the park, happy as you like. I'm apologising & everything but the butcher was fine - just laughed about it. When I got to Bud (who'd tootled off quite happily) I found he had a pig's ear in his mouth! I'm really hoping the butcher gave it to him to entice him out of the shop & that Bud didn't pinch it! LOL

On getting home from the park incident I was just tidying up before going out & Bud followed me into the bathroom (which I'd been cleaning) & dropped Barney the Bear head first down the toilet bowl! It's a big toy & his feet were sticking out over the seat! LOL I'd just put toilet cleaner down there & so I had to rescue Barney, keep him away from Bud who wanted to play with him, & get him into the washer (Barney not Bud! *g*) After a quick wash & rinse Barney was pegged out on the line in the sun with Bud sitting looking forlornly up at him! We were finally ready to go to Malvern & drove over to the hills & then took a path that would meet up with where Mr B was walking with the kids. Bud went mad when he saw his Dad walking towards him! LOL We had a smashing walk with Bud tearing about like a mad thing (he really slept last night after all those miles!) It was a really lovely day & the weather was perfect.

So, all together now - 'Oh, Buddy!' ♥

Of course, Bud's lying in his office bed now, sleeping & looking like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth! *g*
