Another Buddy adventure
15 Mar 2009 12:53 pmWe took Bud to the Clee Hills yesterday & walked up Brown Clee to Abdon Burf (the highest point in Shropshire). It was wonderful & with such terrific views.
The Budmeister had a brilliant time chasing down new scents & finding new sticks. *g*
It was a really lovely circular walk & only about 4 & 1/2 miles, so very pleasant for an unexpectedly sunny Spring afternoon. (Though it was rather chilly when we reached the top as it was sooooo windy!) It was also really quiet - we only saw two other couples walking up there. It was like we had the place to ourselves!

( More Budliness )
There was also a small memorial to 23 airman who had died when their planes crashed into the hill during the Second World War.
