bluespirit: (SGA dorky!John)
We went to Memorabilia on Saturday - luckily I managed to avoid being accosted by Aliens this time! *g*

We had a lovely time mooching around & I got a Supernatural travel mug that says 'Driver picks the music, passenger shuts his cakehole'! *g*
As usual there was nothing new in terms of SGA but I did fondle a John action figure so that he didn't feel too lonely as he didn't have a Rodney to keep him company. ;-)

Oh, & Gareth David-Lloyd was there signing autographs. We walked past him when he must have been on a break - he was eating a pasty! LOL
He looked very nice & sweet, munching happily on his pasty. *g*

I want to buy my Mom a digital camera for Christmas.
It needs to be slimline, have a large viewfinder/display & be very, very simple to use.
My Mom is seventy & a bit of a techno-phobe but she's seen our Canon Ixus 75 & really likes it.
I would like to get her something similar in design but with fewer functions & settings. I mean she's never going to take a video or do macro photography or anything like that. She just wants to be able to point it & press the button - taking pictures on holiday & at family gatherings (& of Buddy, of course!)
Can anyone recommend anything please?
I'm looking to spend around £100.
Thanks, folks!
