Yay! It's McShep Happyfic Day!
I understand that the mods behind this challenge *waves to unamaga & chopchica* will be posting a master list of all happyfic posted once the dust has settled. :-)

We're off out today & so I have to delay my happy reading until later. Still - it's nice to have it to look foward to. :-)

Here's my offering - a little bit of pining!John & oblivious!Rodney with the requisite happy ending! ♥
Writing this story has pretty much consumed my life for the last few weeks & I've loved it - hope you enjoy it too!

“Wait, what do you mean ‘I’ve got a ranch in Montana, how about we go there while we’re on leave’?” Rodney said incredulously, his hands sketching something presumably ranch - or possibly Montana - shaped in the air.

“Well,” John grinned, with deliberate slowness, “I mean that I’ve got a ranch in Montana and I was thinking that maybe we could go there when we’re Earthside next month.”


(It's 14,000 words so I ended up splitting it into two parts for posting but there is a handy little link at the end of part one.)

Alien vs Bluespirit

I'm home after being molested by two Aliens... *g*
We were at Collectormania & there were two guys wandering around in Alien costumes (you know, from the film 'Alien') & I was innocently looking at some action figures & they came up either side of me, hissing & stroking my hair! Mr B was in fits of laughter & I just stood there, blushing furiously & not daring to move. Luckily they moved away but after that I kept my eyes open for them & made sure I didn't go down the same aisle as them. I was peering around one corner - checking where they were - & there they were down the aisle... dancing with a Predator! LOL The three of them holding hands & doing ring-a-roses! Aw, bless! I wasn't scared after that. ;-)

Btw - has anyone spotted a stealth appearance/mention of a certain someone who is very dear to my heart in my happyfic story? *g*
