Yay!! The lovely & talented liresius has made the most beautiful graphic to accompany a little ficlet that I wrote a while back called 'An investigation of curved surfaces by John Sheppard'.

I've been working on struggling with my second piece for sgabigbang. I just couldn't seem to get it to evoke the emotion of the particular scene I was illustrating & the story is so good (really, really good!) that I had to get it right. I scrapped it & started over - three times - but it's finally done & I feel really happy with it. The blood, sweat & tears (pretty much *g*) has been worth it, well, I hope my recipient thinks so anyway!! :-)
Ironically, I'll be on holiday when the whole shebang goes live & so I won't be able to read the fic or drool over the art until I get home. Plus I'll be on tenterhooks hoping my writer likes the pieces I've made. Gah! The responsibility! ;-)
