bluespirit: (Buddy Oh)
Buddy has been off having adventures again!
We took him up the woods yesterday morning for the first time. He had a great time but the woods border some fields & the little devil snook under some wire into one of the fields with the horses!
Oh, Buddy! *g*
He ran up to them but stopped about 10 feet away, he was obviously fascinated by them - really curious, just looking a them - not barking or going right up to them or anything. We kept calling him but he was way too busy to listen to us! And we couldn't get into the field to get him 'cus of the fence (honestly, I don't even know how he wriggled under!) He was only in for a minute or two - the horses were supremely disinterested in him & so he lost interest & came trotting back! To a very stern word from his Dad & straight back on the lead for a bit!

We let him off again a little while later & he pretty much behaved himself - apart from trying to climb a tree following a squirrel! *g*

Here are a few pics - sorry they're a bit blurred, blame action!Bud. *g*

In other news, I'm really pleased to have been able to go for a run today - the first time in two months! I've been resting my hips because of the bursitis I developed training for the marathon but they've felt much better lately.
I took it very easily & just did two miles but it felt fabulous - I've missed my running so much!
I hope I'll be able to build my distances back up now.
*fingers crossed*
I'm hoping to run with Bud too - with him off the lead, along the towpath maybe.
