Just one more thing...
3 Jun 2008 12:14 pmWow, it's been a while since I updated. Mr B was on holiday last week so I wasn't online much & we went down to London to see 'Joseph'. Buddy stayed overnight with my Mom & had a fantastic time. He's been up to Mom's a few times just to visit but this was the first time he slept over. I wouldn't have left him this early but we didn't have much choice (the theatre tickets had been booked since last year!) I'm so relieved that everything went so well - though he was completely beside himself when we got back, bringing all his toys & having lots of cuddles (mind you he's like a mad thing if I've only gone out to the Post Office too. *g*)
We really enjoyed Joseph - Lee Mead is absolutely excellent & gave an outstanding performance.
Oh, & if anyone's been watching 'I'd do anything' I'm so happy that Jodie has won! I think she'll make the perfect Nancy.
I'm ridiculously excited about my new wellies which arrived first thing - they have paw prints on them! *g*
( Wellies! )
Mind you, I needed them this morning as Bud & I got soaked on our walk but at least my feet were dry! Yay - I love them! When we got back Bud proceeded to try to shake himself over every piece of furniture & surface before I could corner him with his towel. He really does just treat it as a game & is actually really good about letting me dry him (once I've cornered him!) - oh, Buddy! *g*
He's sleeping by my feet while I'm typing this. ♥
( A few recent Buddy pics... )
He's been scratching at his ears a little bit & so I took him to see Jo last night & it turns out that he has a slight infection. I'm giving him ear drops twice a day & he hasn't scratched since I started so that's good. Not quite so good when he shakes his head & sends ear drops flying everywhere though. Luckily we were in the kitchen which is a bit easier to wipe down. *g*
All together now... 'Oh, Buddy!' *ggg*
We've changed our summer holiday plans in the light of the arrival of His Highness Lord Budlington. *g* We had been planning a road trip through Arizona but have shelved that until next year as we don't want to leave Bud for so long so early on. Instead we've booked a really quaint little stone cottage (it has its own duck pond!) up in the Lake District & are taking Buddy with us for a lovely holiday of walking & general Buddy type stuff.
Um, as you can tell - it's all about Buddy. ;-)
The cottage has fabulous views & 'overlooks the hamlet of Matterdale End, with panoramic views of the Ullswater fells.' I'm really looking forward to it.
xanthelj is coming to visit on Thursday for a few days. Though I'm under no illusions - I know she's really coming to meet the Budster! Quite understandable really. ;-)
I'm really looking forward to us having a good old natter & squee.
And last but not least - a very happy birthday to the lovely & sweet
nakeisha! I hope you have a wonderful day.
*hugs*
