Bits & pieces
10 Jan 2008 02:44 pmI've written my VigBean prompt ficlet - it's only 400 words but
lantean_drift is giving it a read-through for me as I'm wibbling about the character voices. I've only ever written this pairing a couple of times before (both drabbles!) & am a little concerned.
I'm going to get to work on my other prompts - all McShep or Hewligan - & then I want to get back to 'That McShep Mountain AU' (I really need to think of a title!) which was rolling along quite nicely before my brain got hijacked by Coffee cups before Christmas. *g*

I've just watched the latest ep of 'Women's Murder Club' because The Flan is in it. Why didn't anybody tell me this was a good show? *g* I'm going to go back & catch up with the season now.
Plus - John Ash (JFLan) is a hottie! (Though that's hardly a surprise is it? *g*)

As Mr B & I didn't manage to get places for the London Marathon, we're signing up for the Shakespeare Marathon in Stratford in April. This is the marathon I ran last year & it has a lovely atmosphere. We're also running the Stafford Half Marathon in March as part of our training. Although we often run together & Mr B did a lot of my longer runs with me while I was prepping for the marathon last year, this will be the first time we've run in an event together. It should be great. Obviously Mr B runs faster than me normally & so I've told him I'm happy for him to go at his own pace if he wants to. We'll see how it works out. :-)
We'll be running to raise money for Cancer Research in my Dad's memory as usual.
