Um?

It's good to be back online. I've been really poorly with the flu. I've obviously never had the actual flu before because I've never had anything like this. This wasn't just a really bad cold, in fact I didn't have a cough or a cold or even a sore throat. I just felt the worst that I've ever felt & ended up in bed for over a week & off my feet for nearly a fortnight. Bleagh! I won't go into details (nasty!) but it was absolutely vile. One interesting - freaky - side effect was that the pain meds the doctor gave me made me have weird hallucination type things. Bizarre just doesn't cover it.
Anyway, I'm a bit fragile & frayed around the edges but I'm nearly back to normal.

Unfortunately, I was too poorly to write so the Atlantis sequel is still waiting to be finished but I plan to get to that this week.

Yay for Lee winning Joseph!!! He's been my absolute favourite & head & shoulders above the rest all the way through. I'm so happy for him!

Okay, it looks like I had a clutch of comments left for Atlantis (thank you!!!!) on 6th/7th June.
Did it rec'ed somewhere maybe?

Oh, I've got an angsty!John snippet for this universe, set during the year that Rodney was away. It's a scene that just wormed its way into my head but I don't see it as developing into a full fic (no Rodney!) But I needed to write it before I could carry on with the sequel fic.
I'll post it, maybe?

Btw - I'm calling this AU as a whole, the Austin 'Verse - just 'cus I got the idea for it from the song. I did think of calling it the Blake Shelton 'verse, shortened to the BS 'Verse. Um, yeah - I know what some people may think of my writing but that's sort of asking for trouble. *g*
