LJ, fic & a rec

Hmmmph! LJ is being such a pain lately - I type my reply to a comment & then it goes to an error page & I've lost it all. I'm trying to highlight & copy my responses before hitting 'post', just in case. Is it just me? (I imagine not or that's some really bad luck I'm having. *g*)
I'm also not sure if I'm getting all my comment notifications so please don't think I'm ignoring anyone!

I've had such a positive response to Launch Configuration, especially to the characterisation of John. I'm really pleased (& relieved) as it was a bit of a departure from my usual style & I was a bit anxious about it.

I must rec a most wonderful angsty, hurt/comfort fic that I've just read. It's called 'Side Effects' by jane_elliot.
It's Sheppard/McKay & the fic takes a fandom cliche & completely turns it on its head & really follows through with the lovely, lovely comfort part too. It's such a well written & satisfying fic. ♥
I've only just 'found' this author & am really looking forward to reading my way through her work.

I've converted 'The Triangle' for the video iPod - just DH's bits though - I really wouldn't be able to watch the rest of it again. But DH is beyond adorable in it... ♥
