A quick rec for a hilarious little John/Rodney photo-story by xanthelj (takes me back to reading 'Blue Jeans' when I was a kid - though I wish they'd have had photo-stories like this. *g*) It's based on some pics that I'd sent her as a little cheer-me-up one day & is just too funny! It's total crack & I love it: The Ass

Speaking of the fabulous & sparkly Miss xanthelj - I'm betaing the prequel that she's writing to her amazing epic 'General & Dr Sheppard'. I can honestly say that this fic is helping to keep me sane with everything that's happening right now. I escape into the meticulous & wonderful universe that she's created & just immerse myself in the romance & love. ♥

I've just found out that I've won a Huggy Award at Zebracon 17!!! It's 'The Award for The Professionals: Best Artist'.
Thank you so much to everyone involved! I didn't even know my Pros zine art had been nominated. :-)

I've also just received my copy of 'Matelotage' by Glow & Moonshine. This is a sequel to their fabulous Pirates of the Caribbean slash novel 'Parley' which is one of my favourite stories of all time. I adore the way they write the love story that is Will & Jack. I'm really looking forward to reading the sequel now.
I feel very fortunate to have contributed some art to 'Mateolage' & am humbled to be in the company of amazing artists like Suzan Lovett & Kate Nurenberg. It was a really excellent experience working with the authors & I can't wait to read the finished product.

Unfortunately everything that was nominated can't be entered as only one thing is allowed per category. So I'm just working my way through the procedure now (with Xanthe's much needed help, I might add!) But I'm really touched - thank you.
