I ran the DK 10K last night.
It was a warm & sunny evening but not too hot to run - just comfortable. The course is lovely - going through local countryside & even through a farm yard!
Despite it being fairly undulating (nice euphemism! *g*) in places, I was really pleased to break the hour - completing the 10K (6.2 miles) in 59 mins 16 secs.
And most importantly I've raised some more money for Dogs Trust. Thank you again to everyone who has sponsored me!
There wasn't a medal for finishing this time - it was a commemorative glass goblet.
Unfortunately Rask likes to model my medals & he's looking distinctly unimpressed!

xanthelj will be arriving any moment for a couple of days of squeeing so I won't be about much online for the next few days. *g*
