Quick SGA questions
13 Mar 2006 03:16 pmSome quick questions from a Brit who's trying to write American & Canadian characters (why, yes - it's Sheppard/McKay! *g*)
Is the word goose bump used in the US? (You know when the hairs raise on your skin in the cold & you get little...well, goose bumps.) I know that sounds daft but I don't know if that's just a Britism & would sound weird if John had goose bumps. (g)
Molson is a Canadian beer, yeah? So there's a good chance that Rodney would drink it? I just need a brand name. It's only a tiny throw-away line but I don't want it to sound wrong.
And do we know if Rodney eats ice cream? I mean, he's not allergic to that, is he? I don't think so from what I can remember but I like to check. Plus I've only watched his SG:1 eps once & want to make sure.
All help gratefully received with copious amounts of tea & lashings of ginger beer! God save the Queen, don'tcha know! (g)
