I have twigs with lights!!!! (g)
As anyone who's been to my home or who has read this lj for a while knows, I love lights - not just at Xmas but all year around. I have them in most rooms of the house but not in the lounge...until now! I went to The Pier yesterday & found these really pretty white-light-encrusted twigs & a gorgeous gold-toned tall glass vase to put them in. So now I have lights in the lounge all year too! (I know - I'm easily pleased.)

On a less pleasing note: my parcel from Deep Discount DVD arrived yesterday & I was so looking forward to Amazing Race season 7. But unfortunately they've sent me A Charlie Brown Christmas. *eye roll* I love Peanuts & in fact already have this dvd - but I want my Phil dammit!
However Serenity arrived safe & sound & we had a very shiny evening watching that. It does make me want to find some good Jayne slash now - with Mal or Simon, I'm not fussy. Any recs, folks?

Oh, anyone who hasn't read pirate_hussies fabulous War of the Worlds fic (LotR RPS Viggo/Orli, Sean/Eric) do go & check it out - it's now complete!

And a belated but heartfelt 'happy birthday' to the lovely nieninque121!

Okay - off for a run now (it's eight weeks until my half-marathon!), will be back to answer email, etc later. :-)
