RL & fic recs
20 Dec 2005 08:35 amSo, yesterday was fairly terrifying.
I got a phone call from Mr B's work to say that he'd been taken ill & the paramedics had just taken him to the local A&E.
I've always wondered how I'd react in this kind of situation & now I know - I was terrified - crying & shaking so that I could hardly call my folks to ask for a lift to the hospital.
Anyway, the good news, after spending all afternoon at the hospital is that they've let him come home. He's off work & I'm determined to stop him from working over the holidays because I'm sure overwork (& a really nasty virus) has helped get him in this position in the first place.

And so it was great to read two lovely festive fics that really made me smile & feel happy.

They're both wonderful, warm stories that are perfect if you're feeling down.
