Slashtastic time

I'm ba-ck!! (g)

I had the most fabulous time staying with xanthefic! ♥
It was her birthday & we made a whole extended weekend of it. Myself, Ann (having flown over from the US), Flying North & Sergeeva all descended on the birthday girl & we had a huge birthday/Atlantis/squee filled bonanza!
In the odd moments when Xanthe & I weren't completely pimping everybody else into our shiny new fandom (oh, & wow did that pimping work!) we also managed to celebrate the special day by a meal at the glamourous & tres chic Rhodes 24 restaurant in the city on Friday, plus a fabulous party on Saturday at Xanthe's home complete with chocolate fountain!!!
Omg - what more could a slashy girl ask for? Great friends, tonnes of slashy chat & laughter and a chocolate fountain!!!!???? (g)

We managed to watch all the key slashy Atlantis eps so far & quite a few fic ideas were kicked around - McShep, of course & some featuring the quite lovely & very, very, very gay Carson. 3some anybody? ;-)
We also watched the David Hewlett segment of Cypher & the interview that went with it. David was adorable in the interview but the rest of it was interminable & I must admit we employed the 'scan forward' quite prodigously! (g)
Oh, & Sergeeva had brought a very sweet gay film along for us to coo over - Gone but not forgotten. It was pretty much like fanfic - in fact, it was cabin!fic! LOL
There was a very sensual love scene & also a bubble bath! So gay men really do act like a fanfic story, eh? ;-)

The four days went way too quickly but a wonderful time was had by all & once again, huge thanks to Xanthe for hosting this wonderful birthday slash con!
