New ficlet!

Well, I've finally sorted out my fic journal.
It's called starshinedreams & from now on I'll be posting my stories there.
If you'd prefer to friend that journal & just read the fic, thereby avoiding my babbling (g), then please do. But just for completeness I will be posting links to each new fic from here too. :-)
starshinedreams is set up as a community (purely for convenience) which means that you can't actually join it but please do feel free to monitor it by clicking on the 'monitor community' button (first left in the panel of five buttons on the user info page.)

To get the ball rolling, so to speak (g), I've just posted a little Viggo/Orlando ficlet.
In the next few weeks I'll be posting all of my existing stories there too, so that everything is in one place. Yeah, I'm obessive like that. (g)

I had to be at the dentist's early today

So yes, I'm away tomorrow until Sunday.
It's a very small Professionals con down in Milton Keynes. I've been going for the last 6 or 7 years & actually hadn't planned on going this year. However, pirate_hussies talked me into it & so she's picking me up tomorrow afternoon & off we jolly well go!
If you see a car with wildly cackling women heading towards MC & cries of Orli, Sean, Viggo, Wally & Billeh, then that'll be us. Though it'll mainly be pirate_hussies squeeing about Billeh. (g)
I now just have to sort out all my stuff & I'll be good to go.
*looks balefully at empty suitcase & spare room full of auction zines & assorted paraphenalia*
Hmmm...'I am just going (outside) and may be some time.' ;-)
*puts on snowshoes*

Oh, just read this from an interview with David Cronenberg when asked by Empire how he landed Viggo for 'A History of Violence'.

'In my seduction of Viggo, who’s very picky about his films, I flew to LA and one of the elements of the seduction was to discuss the political undertones of the movie. If you work with an actor like Viggo, the discussions go very deep and the anticipations of people’s reactions to what you’re doing is very deep. But there’s a part that is mysterious and not controllable, because movies, if they are alive, surprise you. They sometimes take on a life of their own and if they do that, they end up meaning things that you sometimes aren’t aware of.'

Add that to the kissing & I'd say that Orli will definitely be showing Vig exactly who he belongs too! *wink*
