We had a lovely evening out last night.
We went to the Malvern Festival Theatre to see Agatha Christie's 'The Mousetrap' which is in its 60th year.
It was a lovely, old-style country house murder mystery.  A little dated perhaps (it is 60 years old!) but good fun.
Mr B & I had a guess at the murderer in the interval & it turned out we were right!  Though with all the usual Christie red herrings, it could have been anyone! *g*
Before the theatre, we had a smashing meal at our usual place - a very superior Indian restaurant *g* - & I had a gorgeous Kashmiri Murghi Biryani (which has prune & pineapple in it): yummy!
The only downer of the evening was that I felt a cold creeping on (Mr B has a beaut at the moment) & I've woken up with it in full force. :(

I saw on the news about Hurricane Gonzalo hitting Bermuda. I couldn't help thinking 'I hope that Gus & Mike are okay' & then realised that they don't actually live there (or anywhere beyond my imagination!) What am I like? *g*

Off to pick up the Budlington now - he had a sleepover at his Nan's while we went out. ♥

Happy Sunday, all!
*hugs*

I had been wondering how it would go. And you guessed? Heh, well done! When I saw it, the cast asked us not to tell anyone the answer - did they do that to you?

The restaurant sounds worth knowing about - I have been to Malvern once or twice, but have not come across it.

Sorry about the cold - yuk!

Eeep! I hope you both are feeling better soon!

We put on The Mousetrap when I was in high school theater--one of my favorite plays that we did.:-)

What a lovely evening! I'm not a huge Indian food fan but I like the sound of your meal. Love a bit of Agatha Christie. (Currently reading a Dorothy L. Sayers - Clouds of Witness.)

Sorry to hear about your cold. Hope it goes away soon.

Haha! You're obviously reading too many detective stories!!

I've never actually seen "The Mousetrap", although my parents saw it the year it started (1955) with the original cast of Richard Attenborough and Sheila Sim (who later became his wife) - so it's quite amazing that it's still running . . .

Hope you'll be feeling better soon.

*hugs*
