House grumpage & birthday wishes (& drabbles & art!)

Aaaagh! We're having the bedroom remodelled & the whole house feels like it's in uproar. We're sleeping in the guest room (Bud was very confused by the fact that his bed was in there & not in our/his room! *g*) but there's not enough room for all our clothes & everything else so we have suitcases & boxes scattered around & what with the noise & dust & everything I can't seem to think.
*grumps*
I know - I'm so anal & just like my routines & everything the way it should be.
On the plus side, Bud's loving it & our decorator is a dog person & is making lots of fuss of him. *g*

So, that's me trying to explain why my online time is so sporadic lately & I feel like I'm running around like a headless chicken! I need chocolate & I need it now! ;-)

I haven't even had chance to rec sgamadison's fabulous new story, Homecoming, which is wonderful - so consider it officially rec'ed! *g*. (I also made a graphic for it that's in my other lj here or with the fic here.)

I had to pop online today though as it's the amazing vida_boheme's birthday! I hope you have a sparkling day!
